Mostyn Street Clinic is pleased to offer enhanced skin cancer detection services with Dr. Dan Heathcock.
He provides comprehensive skin checks, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices to identify and assess potential skin cancers. In addition to expert advice on skin care and sun protection, Dr. Heathcock also performs minor procedures within the clinic. For more complex cases, he facilitates prompt referrals to trusted surgical specialists.
Dr. Heathcock is currently pursuing a Masters in Medicine with a specialisation in Skin Cancer, further advancing his expertise in this critical area. This commitment to specialised training and comprehensive care ensures that patients receive the highest quality skin cancer detection and management at Mostyn Street Clinic.

We offer a comprehensive range of immunisations for all ages, including childhood vaccinations, travel vaccines, flu shots, COVID boosters and shingles vaccination. Talk to your doctor about your immunisation needs.
Planning a trip? We offer comprehensive travel health services, including destination-specific advice, vaccinations, and prescriptions for malaria prevention. Book a travel consultation in advance of your trip to ensure you have the most relevant advice and enough time to organise vaccines where necessary.
Please note we do not stock Yellow Fever vaccines but we can advise on where to access this locally.
An annual health assessment is a comprehensive overview of your physical, mental and social wellbeing. These hour-long assessments with both your GP and an experienced nurse are available to anyone aged 75+, First Nations people, and people between the age of 40-49 at risk of chronic health conditions and are a great opportunity for the early detection and management of health issues.
We offer cervical screening on a convenient reminder system – including self-collection as appropriate. We also provide caring and confidential support for those navigating perimenopause and menopause, with tailored assessments to help you feel empowered and informed.
All delivered by our warm and understanding team.
Maternal & Newborn Care:
Acute & Minor Illness/Injury:
Our clinic offers a dedicated treatment room and experienced nursing staff to assist with a variety of minor procedures. These include skin cancer biopsies and excisions, laceration repair, foreign body removal, and Mirena insertion/removal, among others.
Our experienced nurses provide comprehensive wound care, including assessment, advice, and dressings. While some dressings may incur an out-of-pocket expense, you’re welcome to bring your own.
Telehealth appointments are ideal for prescription renewals, follow-up consultations, and managing ongoing conditions. We offer phone and video consultations for a range of health concerns.
Consultations in the clinic are preferred, however in select cases home visits can be arranged in advance.
