The following fee schedule is effective from July 2025:

Committed to the highest quality care
Mostyn Street Clinic is a locally owned independent General Practice and strives to provide the highest quality care for our patients and the Mount Alexander Shire community.
Following the government’s recent increase to the Bulk Billing Incentive, the Mostyn Street Clinic has accepted the Medicare patient rebate as full payment for some of our services for eligible patients, and this is referred to as bulk billing.
Unfortunately, the daily operational costs of running a quality general practice continue to rise. Fair wages for our staff, equipment and related medical material expenses continue to climb without additional meaningful Government support. To continue providing quality service, we charge a gap fee or out-of-pocket fee
Our Fees
Telehealth and telephone consultations are available.
Mental Health Care plans and consultations may incur an out-of-pocket fee.
Travel medicine will incur a full private fee.
The following visits will be BULK BILLED for all patients and we encourage you to make these appointments:
GP Chronic Condition Management Plans and Health Assessments
These appointments may require a Nurse and Doctor. Please advise reception at time of booking.
Payment is required at the time of your consultation.
Frequently failing to attend, or late cancellation of appointments, will incur a fee. Please see our Practice Policies page for more information
Patients owing more than $100 may not be permitted to book appointments until the outstanding account is paid in full.
